As a Mechanical Engineer, you are the link that brings the design to life. You ensure that the overall design and production and working drawings are perfectly in line with the assignment, quote and the internal Plan of Action. Your expertise is essential to the success of the project! Consider the following tasks and properties:

• Work through specifications and additional technical information and make a division between the most important issues and peripheral issues.
• Creating and managing technical drawings, working drawings and specifications
• Working according to and adhering to quality standards in a cost-efficient way.
• Understanding technical issues quickly and accurately and also driven to solve them.

Who we are:

We are Dutch Theatre Systems & Services (in short: DTS²), the experts in designing and installing automated theatre hoisting and lifting systems. Our specialization includes a wide range of facilities, such as winch systems, orchestra box lifters and computer controls, steel structures, walkways, lighting bridges, roller attics and auditoriums. The installations that we install are equipped with high-end control computers and meet high security requirements. Our work often takes place in theaters across the Netherlands and Belgium. DTS² is part of the VRI Tech Group, a group of specialized powertrain companies.

About you:

• A higher professional education, preferably in the direction of mechanical engineering and/or mechatronics;
• Experience and knowledge of working with AutoCAD 2D and INVENTOR 3D;
• Experience with and knowledge of the Machinery Directive and Eurocode is an advantage;
• Experience with hoisting and lifting technology, (steel) structures, drive technology, mechatronics is an advantage;
• Insight into the safety and safety risks of drive systems and/or lifting installations is an advantage
