In this position, you will be responsible for the engineering of electrical controls within the project office. With your expertise, you are responsible for designing control systems of various grades, i.e. relay-controlled, PLC-controlled to high-end control systems with frequency controls and additional safety software. Your responsibilities also include the electrical work preparation for and transfer to the production and assembly of the control systems. It is also possible that your help is needed to deal with any problems during execution and commissioning.

We are Dutch Theatre Systems & Services (in short: DTS²), the experts in designing and installing automated theatre hoisting and lifting systems. Our specialization includes a wide range of facilities, such as winch systems, orchestra box lifters and computer controls, steel structures, walkways, lighting bridges, roller attics and auditoriums. The installations that we install are equipped with high-end control computers and meet high security requirements. Our work often takes place in theaters across the Netherlands and Belgium. DTS² is part of the VRI Tech Group, a group of specialized powertrain companies.

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer who enjoys working on the latest control techniques on a daily basis and who is able to independently make electrical (pre) designs based on technical specifications.

Do you recognize yourself in the points below? Then we are looking for you!

  • You have an MBO/HBO course in electrical engineering/control technology;
  • You have experience with Autocad Electrical or similar (e.g. e-Plan);
  • You have knowledge of PLC controls;
  • You are quality and cost aware;
  • You live in the Groningen area and have a driving license.
